End of Summer

A few random pictures from the end of our summer.  This is how my girls often play… My Little Ponies are taking a ride on the dolphins and tiger shark.  This imagination explosion is mostly Emma’s thing, but Anna enjoys getting into it with her.  Anna’s strongest gift is still what I like to call “leadership” – it’s hard to get a picture of that, but I am convinced that she’s going to be a great lady someday.  I tell her that often, especially right after I’ve reminded her that she’s not responsible for making sure everybody is always doing everything right.  That is probably right before Junior's surgery - he tore his 2nd ACL a week or so after we got back from Colorado.  (1st one was 2 years ago).  It's been a long 2 months of recovery, but he's practically perfect again now!

Tony has started teaching Anna a little piano.  It’s sporadic, but she likes it.

She started ballet.

More creative play… they like to put dress up on their animals and pretend they are getting married or going to a ball.  They do this to the stuffed sea animals too.  So fun!!
